In my wildest dreams........

As I'm writing this my heart is racing, my hands are trembling and I have the biggest shit eating grin on my face! I love the Giants, but in my wildest dreams, given this teams overall performance this season, I did not expect this. The New York Football Giants are going to the fuckin Super Bowl. Can you believe this???? There arent enough words in the english language to express how good it feels to write that. Giants fans re-read that last sentence. Giants haters get off my blog! LOL I love this. All the hate, all the criticism, all the Eli jokes. Who is laughing now?? How long can this magical run last? I pray that we can keep this thing rolling at least 2 more weeks. Right now, win or lose, this season is a success. I hate to say that, because we obviously want to win the whole thing, but that's the reality. Think about how this season started. Our [un gratefull] hall of fame ex running back goes on television and publicly rips our starting QB. We start the season 0-2. Our defense cant stop anyone. Eli`s play is consistantly inconsistant. The media was ready to run our coach out of town. Im not gonna lie, things looked bleak. Then miraculously this thing turned around. We win 6 straight games, avoid our classic second half of the season collapse & we end up running through the NFC playoffs on the road and book a trip to the Super Bowl. I cant begin to explain how proud I am to be a Giants fan right now. I know the whole world will be picking against us...........just like they did when we played Dallas & Green Bay, but that's ok. We are 10-0 on the road this season and I have all the confidence in the world that number 11 is very possible. I know the Patriots beat us in the regular season, but you can talk to the Packers & Cowboys about how regular season wins translate in the playoffs. We have a difficult task ahead, but we have a chance. Im hoping we show up in Arizona and make the most of it. My God, The New York Giants are the NFC Champions. Unbelievable!!I apologize if this entry seems sloppy and unorganized, but damn this is insane.

I have to give a game ball to Plaxico Burress. He has been hobbled with a bad wheel all year & he still produces when it matters. He took the Packers best cover corner to school today. After watching the first half, where Plaxico torched Al Harris relentlessly, you would have thought that the Packer coaching staff would have rolled coverage to help this guy out. They didn't and Mr. Harris got raped: 11 catches for 154 yards. Not a bad game for a guy who barely made the Pro Bowl.....

What can you say about this guy? In his 4th Season, he is living up to his much hyped potential. Eli Manning is going to the Super Bowl. I wont sit here and say that Ive always thought he was the guy for our franchise. In fact at one point this season, I felt like we may need to draft a QB. He is proving all his critics wrong!! His play is the main reason we are on this magical run. In 85 pass attempts he hasn't thrown a single interception. Eli Manning has officially arrived, and just in time to take his New York Giants on an improbable trip to the Super Bowl. WOW

The agony of defeat...

....and the thrill of victory!
