This is my first blog so I decided to start with something not too serious. I usually have more insightful things to share, but every now & then I like to just step out the box and have a good time. For Halloween my brother and I decided to dress up. I was Steve Urkel/Poindexter & my brother was the late great Rick James. Havent done this since i was in 6th grade so it felt weird at first, but hey you only live once right? I used to be one of those guys that thought he was too cool to dress up for Halloween. You know that guy that goes to the Halloween party in regular clothes and just watches everyone else have a good time. This year I got in on the action and had a great time! I feel like kicking myself for all those years I didnt dress up. I didnt even spend money on my costume! For those of you who think you have to break bread on a Halloween costume, guess what.......you dont. I bought everything I wore that night from Wal-Mart and guess what............I took all that shit back the next day. Wal-Mart will take anything back and for a person like me, who was born cheap, lives cheap and will die cheap, that suits me just fine. Net impact on my bank account for Halloween was $0.00. You show me a person that spends $50 bucks on a costume, and ill show somebody that ran out of ideas. Obviously the Rick James costume was a hit. Judging from the amount of female attention my brother got, apparently all you need to pull girls is a beaded wig, a gold tooth and dirty sanchez mustache.........who knew?! Thats all I got for this first post, till next time....
